August 16, 2011 with Tim Monger [Cassette Archives]

Tim Monger, one of the primary songwriters of Great Lakes Myth Society, made the long trip all the way from Britton, Michigan (no, not Brighton!) to play his records and do an acoustic set from his new solo record. He remains the only guest to play either sea shanties or Janelle Monae! The first 90 minutes of our DJ set is below, as well as a recording of his live set!
