Mike Dutkewych, host of the long running SOUL DEEP night every third Friday at the Rockery in Wyandotte, was my guest this Tuesday. Mike took the opportunity away from the Rockery to stretch out and play some of the music he loves outside of the soul genre. It was his first time DJing all these records, and we discovered we had a lot of mutual loves, including Randy Newman, Nashville Skyline and the Frogs. It’s a bit of a weird mix, with doses of strange magic along the way. Enjoy!
