We hadn&#8217;t spoken ever, but we&#8217;d shared a bill or two back in 1998 when he was a musician living in Michigan. Nowadays he&#8217;s a deejay living in Georgia, specializing in soul and r&amp;b jams. He was only in town for a few days.<\/p>\n<p>UNFORTUNATELY my fickle digital recorder crapped out and nothing was recorded. Which is a real shame because Matt played some rare and awesome jams that night that I was looking forward to listening to again. The only recording that exists is with the owner of the night&#8217;s cassette tape. I may be asking that winner to borrow the tape so I can rip it and put up the mp3 for everyone.
